3. TREAT: Your journey to a fabulous smile begins back at the dental office when you try on your first set of Sure Smile aligners. The aligners move a tiny section of your smile at a time. How Many Hours A Day Will I Have To Wear My Aligners?
For the shortest times to your perfect smile, wear then 20 to 22 hours each day including while you sleep. We recommend that you only drink water while Sure Smile is in your mouth because other beverages can stay in your trays.
Do I Need To Wear A Retainer After Sure Smile?
Yes! It is very important that you wear retainers after you finish your Sure Smile treatment. At first we can recommend that you wear the retainers 20 to 22 hours for the first several months, after that you can wear then at night time. On average, it can take up to six months for your teeth to adjust to their newly aligned positions. After spending the time and the money on straightening your smile, this last step is very important to ensure that you keep your new straighter smile in the optimal alignment.
