Intraoral cameras can reveal early stages of potentially serious problems, helping you to make an informed decision about your treatment options. They can be especially helpful for seeing small cracks in teeth, gaps forming around old fillings, for checking on gum disease and for doing an oral cancer examination. The images can be printed or emailed to specialists or insurance companies as needed. Since the images are stored electronically, they don’t degrade over time.
